On Wednesday (today), Malta saw two superyachts in its waters, named EVRIMA and ILMA, which sail using the Maltese flags.

The EVRIMA superyacht is part of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and was built two years ago. It features 10 decks, eight of which are accessible for guests and five decks with 149 all-suite accommodations. It also has two pools, three whirlpools, a spa deck, and a gym.

The cheapest cruise on EVRIMA is the one from Bridgetown to Bridgetown for €5,200 per person for five nights, while the most expensive one costs €15,200 per person, taking you from Rome to Venice over a span of 11 nights.

The ILMA superyacht is also part of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. It features 11 decks with eight guest decks and can accommodate 448 passengers along with 378 crew members.

It was built by the French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique. Its exterior was designed by the Finnish studio Aivan and the interior was designed by the British architectural and design company AD Associates and lighting designer DPA.

As part of its sustainability efforts, it uses liquefied natural gas as fuel. It also features a water treatment system, an efficient heat recovery loop, and LED lighting to further minimise environmental impact.

A cruise on ILMA will set you back €3,100 per person for three nights, meanwhile the most expensive one would be the one costing €16,300 per person for 11 days, taking you from Reykjavik to Amsterdam.

Transport Malta wrote on their social media channel that it is working to attract more investments like this to Malta, and create a more sustainable future within the industry.
