A highly respected maritime lawyer, Dr Moran is "exceptionally well-known" within the yachting and shipping sectors, the company said. “Bringing her to lead our legal function is an exciting milestone for us, and her depth of expertise and strategic vision will play a vital role as we continue to strengthen our overall team and steer the company into its next chapter," the company said.

Dr Moran holds a Doctor of Laws (LL.D) from the University of Malta and a Master’s Degree in International Maritime Law (LL.M) from the International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI), established under the auspices of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the United Nations.

Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation advising both local and international clients across a wide range of specialised areas, including yachting and maritime operations, commercial and financial transactions, maritime labour and compliance, residence and investment.

She serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Malta Maritime Law Association (MMLA) and is a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners (IFSP) and the Maltese Bar Association.

The company’s CEO, Suzanne Brincat Dowdall, said: “Having known Dr Moran for many years – and having served alongside her as a fellow member of the Malta Maritime Law Association (MMLA) – I have had the distinct pleasure of working closely with her on a number of client projects over the years. I have always deeply admired her sharp legal mind, exceptional work ethic, and outstanding standing within the industry.”
