APS Bank is the proud recipient of the 2021 National Prize for the Promotion of Arts & Culture, awarded by Arts Council Malta.
In a statement by the bank, APS describes the important milestone as recognising the bank’s “unstinting commitment and investment in this area over the years.”
Commenting on the award, the bank’s Chief Strategy Officer Herve Delpech said that it “acknowledges the efforts and contribution of the Bank towards culture in its different forms” and is “a strong encouragement for APS Bank to continue promoting culture, with drive and passion, for the benefit of all.”
The bank has been a leading promoter of the arts in their various forms over the years, lending its support through exhibitions, publications and more. Last year, during the pandemic, APS Bank also organised the APS Summer Festival, reinforcing its support towards community events and the artists involved during a particularly turbulent time for the sector.

This, he said, will involve changes to certain leadership roles, the creation of new leadership positions.
