Carlo Gavazzi Ltd announced the appointment of Andre Spiteri, who has been working in the field of management and engineering for over 24 years, as the company’s new General Manager.

Based in Bulebel, in the southern region of Malta, Carlo Gavazzi is an international group active in designing, manufacturing and marketing electronic equipment. The company produces sensors, monitoring relays, timers, energy management systems, solid state relays, electronic motor controllers, safety devices and fieldbus systems.
Prior to joining Carlo Gavazzi, Mr Spiteri was Associate Director at PharOS Ltd for just over a year, and before that he spent over seven years as Senior Operations Manager at Baxter International Inc.
Between 1997 and 2004 he held Engineering roles at STMicroelectronics Malta Ltd and Methode Electronics Malta Ltd.
Mr Spiteri graduated with a B Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malta in 2006 and went on to study an MSc in Engineering Management at Brunel University London, where he graduated in 2007.
