Claire Zammit Xuereb, Director of Hospitality & Care at AX Group, took to social media to celebrate the Michelin Guide recognising two of the group’s restaurants.

Said guide, published earlier this year, awarded One Michelin Star to Under Grain and the Bib Gourmand to Grain Street.

Both restaurants are located within one of AX Group’s Valletta-based boutique hotels – Rosselli AX Privilege.

“Well done to the kitchen and service brigade led by Chef Victor Borg and Restaurant Manager Thomas Mifsud Bonnici for their great achievement in getting the recognition from Michelin on the two brands belonging to Grain,” Ms Zammit Xuereb wrote.

“Once again, Under Grain has been awarded the One Star, whilst Grain Street has now been newly-awarded the Bib Gourmand,” she continued.

Under Grain and Grain Street were amongst the 30 Maltese restaurants recognised by the Michelin Guide this year. Five of these received One Michelin Star, four received the Bib Gourmand, and the remaining 21 were included as part of the Michelin Guide Malta 2022.

“Special thanks goes to the Rosselli AX Privilege Team for their continuous support towards the Grain brand, led by our Senior General Manager Kevin Callus and Operations Manager Moul Hajjar,” Ms Zammit Xuereb continued.

“You have managed to create a masterpiece,” she concluded.
