Dario Azzopardi has been appointed to the position of Deputy CEO at Multitude Bank, a subsidiary of Multitude SE that is licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority to provide banking services from Malta to other jurisdictions within the European Economic Area (EEA).

His new position comes into effect pending regulatory approval.

Dario currently occupies the role of Chief Banking Officer, a position he started back in June 2022. Following his latest appointment, Dario will serve in both roles.

He first joined Multitude Bank, previously known as Ferratum Bank, in February 2015 as Head of Treasury, Bank FP&A, after which he was appointed COO, and eventually Chief Banking Officer and Deputy CEO.

He will be replacing Julie Chatterjee in the role of Deputy CEO, who as from 15th June shall be retaining her role as CCO.

Dario brings with him over 15 years of experience in banking and finance, and his expertise covers finance, business, process improvements, leadership and payments. He is a warranted certified public accountant and a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. Dario holds a bachelor honours degree in Accountancy and a degree in Commerce from the University of Malta.
