FES Finance plc has announced the resignation of Alex Tanti from his role as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 30th April 2025.

The company confirmed that Mr Tanti stepped down from the Board after serving in a non-executive capacity.

A warranted accountant by profession, Mr Tanti graduated from the University of Malta in 2007 and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he spent six years in the external audit department. During his time at PwC, he worked on major audit assignments and gained international experience through a secondment to the Los Angeles office.

In 2013, he transitioned into self-employment, offering accountancy, tax planning, and business advisory services to a portfolio of local and international clients. In recent years, Mr Tanti also became active in the local property market, taking on a leadership role in a real estate agency from October 2020.

He was appointed Independent NED at FES Finance in 2021.

FES Finance plc did not provide details on who will be appointed to fill the now-vacant board seat.

FES Finance is a subsidiary of FES Projects Ltd, owned by Christopher Vella and Reuben Debono. It is involved in property development, building materials, renewable energy and sustainable hospitality.

In 2019, it tapped the local capital market for a €5 million bond issue with a coupon rate of 5 per cent, due in 2029.
