Fyorin, a locally-founded fintech start-up won the ‘Best Tech Start-Up’ title at the 2021 Malta eBusiness Awards.
The winning start-up was born out of frustration that its founders, Christian Joseph Agius, James Camilleri, and Brian Vella experienced around business banking – both from an SME and financial institution perspective.
“So proud of the team we’ve built so far at Fyorin,” Mr Agius wrote on social media.
“In a world where digitalisation is moving forward at a fast pace, there is an increased demand for swift, flexible, and frictionless banking capabilities,” he continued.
Fyorin provides a platform that can help financial institutions leverage on their existing network of SMEs in bringing to market faster and more innovative financial products.
The start-up does this through what is referred to as a Business Banking Network Scheme, that is, a platform which connects financial and non-financial providers from around the world through a single network.
The eBusiness awards are organised by Tech.mt in a bid to promote and award Malta’s best tech companies and solutions.
