Harvest Technology plc has announced the appointment of George T. Kakouras as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 17th April 2025.

Mr Kakouras brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held senior leadership positions within the technology and gaming sectors both in Malta and abroad. He currently serves as Managing Director at Apcopay Limited, a subsidiary of Harvest Technology, and at Hili Properties plc, further solidifying his longstanding commitment to the Hili Ventures ecosystem.

In his new capacity as CEO, Mr Kakouras will oversee the management teams across Harvest Technology’s subsidiaries. His leadership will focus on scaling the company’s business activity sustainably across both local and international markets. He will also be responsible for spearheading strategic investment initiatives and driving the development of new products and services.

Before joining Harvest Technology, Mr Kakouras served as Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at the Intralot group and Maltco Lotteries. These roles provided him with extensive international experience in operations and executive management.

Mr Kakouras holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as an MBA in Engineering Economics Systems from the National Technical University of Athens.
