Betsson Group’s Matthew Natoli has welcomed the “exciting challenge” of working with the company’s new partners in the US.
This comes after he was promoted to B2B Partnership Director on Monday, following more than 15 years at the iGaming firm.
Speaking to MaltaCEOs.mt, Mr Natoli stated that his new position represents the “culmination” of his years of experience within Betsson Group’s B2B side of operations, during which he gained “invaluable knowledge and skills” while working with “extremely talented people” at the company and its partners.
“My previous roles have allowed me to establish meaningful relationships with people across various departments, enabling me to acquire and gain knowledge on different areas of the business, which put together, give me a broad view of the whole organisation and how to effectively manage the diverse needs of our partners,” he said.
He explained that in his new role, he will focus on “continuing to improve” Betsson Group’s “current partner management processes while building a strong team of partner managers to support our current and future partners”.
Over the past few years, Betsson Group has been actively preparing to delve into the US market. This was marked by the launch of its mobile app sportsbook in Colorado last March, which proved to be an opportunity for it to showcase the US-adapted sportsbook to its new and existing operators on the market. This made it an integral component of its B2B strategy in the country, which also included the opening of an office in Denver, Colorado, which aims to support B2B operations.
When asked about the company’s increased focus in promoting its B2B offering to American partners, and whether he will also be working on the US market, Mr Natoli said that him and his team are available to “support and maintain any B2B relationships that Betsson may acquire in the future”.
“We would welcome the opportunity to work with new partners in the US and would be excited to support the growth of these new partners alongside our current ones,” he explained.
“Given the relative youth of online operations in the US, we see it as an exciting challenge to share our knowledge and expertise with any new partners,” he concluded.
Betsson Group, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, has grown over the years to become one of the leading names within the industry. While its headquarters are based in Stockholm, Sweden, its operational headquarters are located in Ta’ Xbiex.
