On Wednesday, Cablenet Communication Systems plc announced the appointment of Kelvin Camenzuli as Director of the company.

Ing Camenzuli will be replacing Paul Testaferrata Moroni Viani, who is relinquishing his post of Director of the company with immediate effect. The Board of Directors at Cablenet thanked Mr Testaferrata Moroni Viani for his loyal service.

A professional with over two decades’ experience in digital operations and strategy across both telecoms and fintech industries, Ing Camenzuli currently occupies the post of Chief Digital Officer at GO.

He previously held various Chief Technology Officer (CTO) roles, including CTO of GO, where he spearheaded the company’s network transformation programme including the launch of GO’s fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) rollout programme as well as the launch of 4G.

Subsequently Ing Camenzuli occupied the post of CTO at MeDirect banking group, where he organised the company’s digital transformation programme and prepared the group’s technology function and IT governance for direct European Central Bank supervision.

Ing Camenzuli has a Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Malta.

Cablenet, which is a subsidiary of GO, is a telecommunications provider that is based in Nicosia, Cyprus. The company is the only independent alternative telecommunications provider that offers broadband, fixed telephony and television services through its wholly-owned cable infrastructure.
