Multitude Bank plc has announced that Jakub Savara’s appointment as Chief Banking Officer has received regulatory approval from the Malta Financial Services Authority.
His appointment was first announced in April in a slew of changes to the bank’s senior management team. These included Sara Codreanu as Chief Investment Officer and Alex Rose as Chief Operations Officer.
Mr Savara will take over CBO responsibilities from Dario Azzopardi, who had held the role since 2023. Mr Azzopardi retained the Deputy CEO role.
Mr Savara has been with Multitude Bank for over 10 years. In that time, he served in a number of senior positions, including responsibility for payments and anti-financial crime operations and acting as Deputy Head of Bank Operations.
Most recently, he served as Back Office and Middle Office Lead.
Mr Savara holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Activities in Foreign Trade and a Master’s degree in International Trade from the University of Economics in Bratislava.
