Jan Kowalczyk

Sports Betting Community (SBC) Events has appointed Jan Kowalczyk as Business Development Director – Malta, strengthening the company’s local sales team.

An experienced sales professional with a background in the technology, fintech and events industries, Mr Kowalczyk will be managing SBC’s relationships with games developers, platform and tech suppliers, operators, and affiliates within the Maltese iGaming community.

Founder and CEO of SBC, Rasmus Sojmark, commented on the appointment, saying “We’re delighted that Jan has joined us in what is an important role for the company.”

“Malta has developed into a centre of excellence for iGaming and many of the industry’s most innovative and creative companies now have a base there. So it’s great for us to have someone on the ground to strengthen our relationships with those businesses.”

Mr Kowalczyk’s appointment comes ahead of the CasinoBeats Summit this week, the company’s first in-person conference of 2021.

SBC also appointed Tom Bullen as Sales Manager and Samantha Bailey as Sales Support Executive for the company’s UK team.
