Jean Pierre Attard has been appointed Executive Chairperson of INDIS Malta, the largest operator of industrial parks in Malta and Gozo. The entity is responsible for the administration of Government-owned estates and related facilities around the islands.

He takes over from Keith Fenech, who was appointed to the role in January 2023 but is departing following his “prestigious international appointment as director of a global company,” the Economy Ministry shared in a statement.

To ensure an element of continuity, the Economy Ministry said, the INDIS Board, in line with its Memorandum of Association, is appointing its current Chairperson, Dr Attard, now as Executive Chairperson.

Dr Attard has been Chairperson of this entity for the last three years and “is very familiar with the company’s challenges and plans ahead”. The handing over period will extend through the next month so that Dr Attard officially takes over from Mr Fenech as of the 1st of July 2023.

“The Ministry is confident that this appointment will further elevate INDIS’ capabilities to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of our industries.”
