Ta’ Xbiex-based iGaming giant Betsson Group has promoted Maria Loumpourdi to Head of Talent Development – Global.
Ms Loumpourdi took to social media to announce her appointment.

The Head of Talent Development joined Betsson Group last January as Senior Talent Development Manager – Global. She only served in said capacity for six months prior to her promotion.

Ms Loumpourdi holds a wealth of experience in her current sector, having previously served as Senior Learning and Development Manager at BOV, Head of Learning and Development at STMicroelectronics, Learning and Development Specialist at Gaming Innovation Group, and Lecturer at the University of Malta.
The Head of Talent Development holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nicosia and a Master of Science in Advanced Educational Studies from the University of Glasgow, where she is currently reading for a Doctor of Education.
Betsson Group started out from a single slot machine in 1963. Nowadays, the Swedish multi-national company employs around 1,800 people from over 60 countries across 10 different locations.
The company operates approximately 20 brands, including Betsafe, Guts, Casino Winner, and Casino.dk.
