Global cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks has appointed Italian-national Michele Lamartina as Regional Vice President for Italy, Greece, Malta and Cyprus.
The American firm employs over 10,000 workers worldwide and was founded in 2005 by Israeli-American entrepreneur Zir Nuk, who had previously been a key engineer at Check Point Software Technologies.
It is one of the largest cybersecurity firms globally, with a market capitalisation exceeding $70 billion as of recent reports. The company serves a wide range of sectors, including finance, healthcare, and government, with its products being used by thousands of large enterprises worldwide
Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, Palo Alto Networks has its own connection to Malta through its partnership with EWORLD, a leading cybersecurity firm on the island.
Michele’s professional background is primarily rooted in senior sales roles at various large companies based in Rome.
