Nicolas Chateau has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at MedservRegis, bringing with him more than three decades of international experience across logistics, offshore energy operations and maritime services.
Mr Chateau joins the Malta-listed group following over eight years at BOURBON, where he currently serves as Managing Director at Bourbon Logistics, a role he has held since 2021. He also occupied the position of Logistics Services Manager within the group, overseeing operations across the offshore logistics sector.
Prior to this, he spent more than nine years with TotalEnergies in a number of senior logistics leadership roles, including Logistics Manager for Total E&P Brazil and Total E&P Uganda, as well as Head of Logistic Engineering in France.
Earlier in his career, Mr Chateau served for over 16 years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer with the Marine Nationale, operating internationally.
MedservRegis provides integrated shore base logistics services to the offshore oil and gas industry, alongside engineering and supply chain management solutions for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) supporting both offshore and onshore operations.
The group operates logistics bases across Malta, Libya, Cyprus, Egypt, Mozambique, Uganda and Guyana, while also supporting operations directly from client facilities.
Its OCTG engineering and supply chain management operations are primarily delivered through its Middle East Tubular Services (METS) brand across the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
MedservRegis is listed on the Malta Stock Exchange and has been serving the oil and gas industry for more than 50 years.
