Nigel Curmi has joined Hudson Holdings Ltd as its Chief Technology Officer. Hudson Holdings is an international retailer, distributor and service provider mainly involved in the sport and fashion wear sectors. Founded in Malta, it’s head office is also based on the island.

Mr Curmi previously served as Chief Information Officer at Steward Health Care Malta, the former concessionaire engaged to manage and operate St Luke’s Hospital, Karin Grech Hospital, Gozo General Hospital and the Barts Medical School. He served in the role for four and a half years, starting in January 2019.

Prior to this, he had two long stints at leading telecoms firms GO plc and Melita. Between 2009 and 2018, he served in various roles at GO, occupying the post of Chief Information Officer for the last five years and eight months with the company.

Throughout his 10 years and seven months at Melita, he also served in various roles, the last being Head of IT and Data services.

Mr Curmi’s therefore enters the retail space after a long history in ICT, healthcare and telecoms.
