Patrick Spiteri named Managing Director at professional services group Praxis Malta

Independent professional services group Praxis has announced the arrival of a new Managing Director in Malta, Patrick Spiteri, who is tasked with leading its growing private wealth and corporate administration division.

Praxis is an independent, leading provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration, pensions & employer solutions and yacht services to companies, individuals and families across the world.

Mr Spiteri has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, the majority of which has been gained within the trust and corporate services sector, dealing with international structures and transactions. Mr Spiteri also spent several years working in the wealth management and investment management industry.

He acted as a director for a number of licensed companies with high net worth and international clients, ensuring the delivery of optimum services and enhancing synergies to develop further business opportunities.

He was the Managing Director of Sarnia Yachts in Malta from 2016 to 2018, which was acquired by Praxis in July 2023, and so is well known across the group’s yacht services team.

Mr Spiteri said: “I am delighted to join Praxis at this exciting point in the group’s development. The business is very well-regarded in Malta, and I would like to thank my predecessor, Alex Beetham, for his work in building the brand here and to wish him success in his new position as the MD of our Isle of Man office.

“The Malta office has a significant role to play in the group’s growth trajectory across all our service lines. My focus is on the expansion of our private wealth, corporate administration and yacht services to support the evolving needs of our clients and our extensive referral network.”

The Malta office was established in 2008 and is a central part of Praxis Group’s ongoing growth strategy, hosting solutions encompassing the Group’s four pillars of private wealth, corporate administration, pensions and employer solutions, and yacht services.

The Malta office recently moved to new state-of-the-art offices at Avenue 77 located at the primary entrance to Malta’s Central Business District.
