Reuben Attard has been appointed director at GO’s Cablenet, further expanding his role within the GO Group.

Cablenet Communications Systems plc is a subsidiary of GO plc, which owns 70.61 per cent of company shares. It is a leading telecommunications company in Cyprus, offering internet, cable tv, mobile, and fixed telephone home services.  In 2020, it became the first foreign registered company to issue and list bonds in Malta.

Mr Attard is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of extensive experience spanning financial management, operations and business development across multiple industries, including banking, financial services, hospitality and telecoms.

His strong financial acumen is complemented by his qualifications as a fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Since joining GO in 2019, Mr Attard has taken on critical leadership roles. Notably, he has served as Chief Finance Officer and was recently appointed Chief People Officer, a role he assumed at the start of 2024. His broad expertise in managing diverse teams across various sectors has been instrumental in driving GO’s growth and operational excellence.

In addition to his expanded duties at Cablenet, Mr Attard holds multiple Directorships within the GO Group and its subsidiaries. Over the past five years, he has been a director at GO Infrastructure Services Limited, GO Ventures Limited, GO IP Holdings Limited, Cybersift Holdings Limited, Cybersift Limited, Loqus Holdings plc, Klikk Limited, and Klikk Finance plc.
