Robert Zammit Lucas has announced that he has joined the advisory department at Deloitte, marking a new chapter in a career spanning more than 15 years in senior finance leadership positions across Malta’s corporate sector.

Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Mr Zammit Lucas said his new role will focus on providing advisory support to CFOs and finance leaders, helping organisations tackle both strategic and practical finance challenges.

“In this new role, my focus will be on providing advisory support to CFOs and finance leaders, drawing on my experience to help organisations navigate both practical and strategic finance challenges.”

He added that his mission is to support organisations “through practical solutions, informed judgement, and collaborative execution”, while working closely with finance professionals and business leaders to deliver “practical, hands-on, and value-driven support.”

Before joining Deloitte, Mr Zammit Lucas served as Chief Financial Officer at JD Capital plc for three years. Prior to that, he held the role of Group Chief Financial Officer at JD Holdings Limited for more than three years.

Earlier in his career, he spent almost four years at Express Trailers Ltd, where he served as Group Head of Finance and Financial Controller.

Reflecting on the move, Mr Zammit Lucas said he is “grateful for the experiences and colleagues” that shaped his professional journey and expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities ahead in his new advisory role.
