“Thank you to Fredrik Ögren and Jesper Svensson for the opportunity – it’s good to be back,” he continued.

Mr Schembri had first joined Betsson Group as a Senior Project Manager back in 2013. Throughout the proceeding seven-and-a-half years he worked his way up to Product Director, New Markets.

In May 2021, Mr Schembri parted ways with Betsson Group to join Begame Group as Chief Product Officer. He held said tenure for seven months, before returning to Betsson as Director of Product Development.

Employing around 1,900 people in 13 locations, Betsson Group is one of the largest companies within the European iGaming industry.
