Sliema-based iGaming company PressEnter Group has recently brought Terese Thagaard on board as its new Chief Legal Officer.

Founded in 2016, PressEnter Group specialises in the online casino industry by providing entertainment through its gaming products. The company takes a mobile first approach and owns a wide array of brands, including 21.com, JustSpin, NeonVegas, and Nitro Casino.

Dr Thagaard’s experience in the legal industry spans well over a decade.

As PressEnter’s Chief Legal Officer, she will be responsible for ‘extending and further developing the multi-talented and effective legal team that will drive and support the [company’s] continued growth and success.’

“We have established a reputation as being an employer of choice and Dr Thagaard will play an integral role in this next phase of our growth,” PressEnter Group CEO Lahcene Merzoug said.

“Her vast knowledge and expertise will help us recruit, develop, and train the next legal stars within our quick-paced industry and make sure PressEnter has the best legal representation in-house, whilst also creating opportunities for young lawyers as they join our team,” the CEO added.

Dr Thagaard first joined the iGaming industry in 2018, when she started a stint as Legal Counsel – Nordics at Kindred Group plc. After that, she held a number of related roles at LeoVegas Group.
