In a heartwarming initiative, The Children In Need Foundation recently delivered four giant teddy bears to children’s homes, bringing smiles and warmth to young residents. This generous donation was made possible through The Point Shopping Mall, which reached out to the foundation in early January to offer the cuddly gifts.

Claire Cassar, Administrator of The Children In Need Foundation, shared her experience of coordinating the effort alongside Daniel Abela, the foundation’s Founder, and Darren Cassar, Board Secretary.

The logistics were no small task – transporting these oversized teddies required a large, clean truck and plenty of muscle power. Thankfully, Luke Vassallo and his team at Eurocargo Logistics stepped in, offering their truck and manpower to ensure a smooth delivery.

“It was an afternoon with a difference for sure,” Ms Cassar told MaltaCEOs. “The highlight for me was hearing the excitement of the kids when we delivered the teddies. That’s when you know you’ve made someone’s day.”

The initiative reflects The Children In Need Foundation’s ongoing commitment to bringing joy and support to children in need. By working closely with local businesses and volunteers, the foundation ensures that donations reach the right hands, making a tangible difference in young lives.

“I am sure they will enjoy them for many more years to come and cuddle up to them,” Ms Cassar added. “What more can I say? The joy of giving!”
