APS Bank took to social media to mourn the loss of long-standing Marketing and Quality Manager Patrick Aquilina.

“He was a close and highly respected colleague to all of us and will be missed immensely by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him over the past 11 years. A valued member of our team,” the bank wrote.

Mr Aquilina had joined APS as Marketing and Quality Manager back in 2010. Before that, he held a similar role at Thomas Smith Group.

“The shock is huge and our lives will be empty in the areas that he had brightened for us. Patrick was hardworking, creative, and always gave so generously to whatever roles and tasks he was assigned,” APS Bank wrote.

“His love for painting, photography, Liverpool F.C., and Formula One will be remembered, especially by his colleagues in the Strategy Department who regularly chatted with him,” it added.

Hundreds of friends, relatives, and acquaintances took to the post’s comments section to pay tribute to Mr Aquilina.
