Vince Ciantar

Vince Ciantar, the Founder and CTO of TheStudentCampus, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company which brings together K12 and Higher Education world class professionals and academics, has unfortunately passed away on Monday 3rd October.

Since then, tributes have flooded in to remember the much-loved business owner.

Nikolai Sammut, Co-Founder and CEO at icemalta.com, where Mr Ciantar had been an educator for over a decade, took to social media to write an emotional tribute for the well-loved colleague and friend who he described as “unlike any other CTO — a joker, exceptional at keeping up team spirit, a leader — not a boss. He’s the CTO that would get his hands dirty, lead by example and empower his team to work harder, be stronger, live better — BE better.”

“Vince will be remembered and was always cherished for being unapologetically real,” Mr Sammut continued whilst also remembering Mr Ciantar for his remarkable culinary skills and reminding readers of the inside-joke they shared where they would quip that Mr Sammut’s next career move should have been CCO, or rather Chief Canteen Officer.

“A million and one memories and conversations spin in our heads but we all land on the same question. Did we tell Vince how much he was appreciated and loved? We definitely didn’t, well not enough. This will remain our deepest regret. Imperfectly perfect Cens — that’s what you will always be to us,” he added.

“Censu, you will be missed, never forgotten. Forever in our thoughts, always in our hearts. That’s our promise to you,” Mr Sammut concluded.
