Dave Shaw has been appointed General Manager (GM) at retail company Arkadia Retail Ltd, he announced on Wednesday.
In the announcement, he said that he is thrilled to have recently embarked on this “new adventure.”
Prior to his newest role, Mr Shaw had worked as Associate Director – Infrastructure – Markets at KPMG Malta for over five years.
“After a rewarding journey as an Associate Director at KPMG, I’m eager to bring my expertise to Arkadia,” he added.
Arkadia Retail Ltd is a leading fashion, food, and home retailer with outlets located in Gozo and in some of Malta’s shopping destinations. It operates Arkadia Commercial Centre in Gozo, welcoming brands such as Arkadia Foodstore, Piazza Italia, Orsay, Pearl, and Parfois. Established in 1996 to develop the commercial centre in Gozo, Arkadia Retail Ltd is owned by Mizzi Organisation.

Mr Shaw remarked that he believes that success is ultimately built on “collaboration, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.” He added that together with Arkadia’s leadership team, he is confident that the company can achieve “remarkable milestones and make a lasting difference.”
He added that he is grateful for the experiences and relationships he gained throughout his time at KPMG Malta and looks forward to carrying the lessons he learnt forward in his career. “To my former colleagues and mentors at KPMG, thank you for your support and guidance, I carry your wisdom with me every step of the way,” Mr Shaw affirmed.
Aside from his time at KPMG Malta, Mr Shaw also had experience as CEO at STC Training, Head of Campus at Middlesex University Malta, Chief Operations Officer at iPro+, and ICT Infrastructure Solutions Manager at PTL Ltd.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (Consultancy) from Aberystwyth University and a Bachelor of Communications and European Studies from University of Malta.
