Gilbert Camilleri, Marketing Director at Chiliz & Socios.com, took to social media to look back at the company’s marketing department’s growth over the past three years.

“A genuinely phenomenal couple of days with all of the 200+ Chiliz x Socios.com crew here in Malta. This year we worked our asses of to gain a leading position in the market, and 2022 promises to be even bolder and faster,” Mr Camilleri wrote.

“I can’t express how proud I am to be leading such a great bunch of talented marketers and creative minds – but most importantly – a group of committed and passionate individuals who push themselves and each other to limits unknown to many,” he continued.

Mr Camilleri joined the company in March 2019 as Head of Marketing; a role which he held for just under a year. In February 2020, Mr Camilleri took on the role of Marketing Director, a position which he has held since.

“We went from just a few of us three years back, to 15 last year, counting 40 today and most likely twice as much in the marketing team by the end of next year,” the Marketing Director added.

“Let’s always remember who we are and what got us here. Always. We landed on the moon: next stop, Mars,” he concluded.

Prior to joining Chiliz x Socios, Mr Camilleri held a series of project-based roles as a Digital Marketing Consultant at a number of local companies. These include EBO, Altaro Software, and Newsbook.

The Marketing Director also had two lengthy stints as CEO and Director – first at Uniblue Systems Ltd and soon after at Ellp.
