Today marks one year since the launch of Malta’s first influencer and model agency, Island Talent Agency. And, despite the setbacks of the pandemic year, the co-founders say, it has continued to on-board new talent and collaborate with new and ongoing clients.

Within its first year, the brainchild of industry specialists Luke Laurenti and Kris Micallef has successfully run over 300 campaigns, with Luke specialising in the commercial aspect of the company while Kris takes care of the creative that makes ITA stand out.

“Launching in the midst of a pandemic was extremely unfortunate, but we persevered and kept moving forward, growing the company month on month by helping clients optimise their marketing campaigns through influencer marketing,” says Co-Founder and Director Luke Laurenti of the milestone.

“A year later, companies have focused a lot of their marketing efforts on digital advertising and have understood that influencer marketing is one of the most cost-effective forms of marketing to date,” he continues, highlighting the agency’s strength. “By combining both influencer marketing and model management, we aspire to position Island Talent Agency as the ideal company to help businesses and marketing agencies create original visual content with the best personality to suit their campaign.”

In addition to influencer marketing, ITA also specialises in modelling, photography and video content creation while giving businesses the option of placing any of the agency’s talent within photo or video-based campaigns, which they also cater for in-house.

Some of the biggest names in Malta have joined ITA, and, Luke says, have seen positive results by being represented by an agency. These include the likes of Sarah Zerafa, Christabelle Camilleri, Claire Agius Ordway, Alexandra Alden, Gaia Cauchi among others.
