Start-up company, Binderr, has launched an app that takes the stress out of bookkeeping, giving Malta’s self-employed individuals and freelancers control over their finances and taxes.
The company’s CEO and founder, Jacob Appel, shares that the idea was born from a desire to disrupt the traditional bookkeeping process.
“We see an opportunity in changing how bookkeeping is done for everyone. In a world where technology is moving so fast, bookkeeping has seen little innovation,” the CEO says.
The team behind Binderr – who also created online take-away and delivery service, Time to Eat, and also brought Bolt to Malta – invested €1 million to develop the innovative technology, which is designed to give users a clear overview of their accounts at any time, including upcoming or overdue tax returns.
The start-up also aims to roll-out its services to small businesses in the near future, including management accounts, payroll and issuing of invoices.
