“We see PEVCA Malta playing a central role in developing” private equity and venture capital in the local eco-system, Secretary General of PEVCA Herald Bonnici wrote on his social media channel.
The Malta Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (PEVCA) mission statement is to promote Malta as a prime destination for private equity and venture capital investment while fostering industry collaboration and innovation.
Mr Bonnici commented following an event held at the Malta Stock Exchange, where Walter Ricciotti, CEO and Co-Founder of Quadrivio Group shared his experience in the sector of alternative investment.
The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas and discussing the future of Malta’s private equity industry. Mr Ricciotti “shared his valuable experience in the industry and emphasised that leveraging data is key to conducting the thorough analysis required for informed decision-making and overcoming challenges”, wrote PEVCA on its social media channel.
Discussing PEVCA’s role in shaping Malta’s venture capital ecosystem, Mr Bonnici further wrote that it is a “journey towards sustainability, leveraging Malta’s position in the middle of the Mediterranean in addition to having a skilled and multilingual workforce.”
