AcrossLimits, a European digital innovation and research-driven consultancy, today announced a strategic leadership restructuring designed to strengthen its operational capacity and support its continued international expansion.

The announcement comes as the company prepares to celebrate a landmark milestone, its 25th anniversary in June 2026.

Angele Giuliano, Founder and Managing Director, will continue to lead the company, maintaining strategic oversight and guiding its long-term vision. The restructuring, the company said, reflects both its sustained growth and its commitment to recognising internal talent and leadership excellence.

“I am excited for this new phase of AcrossLimits as it strengthens our company and gives me the opportunity to focus more on strategic areas. Over 25 years in business has taught me the importance of collaboration and having two new directors with me in the management will bring new energy, focus and drive that will continue pushing us further”, Ms Giuliano said.

Ms Giuliano is a Maltese entrepreneur in the technology and ICT sectors with a strong background in European research, innovation and regional development projects. She has been the Managing Director at AcrossLimits since 2001, as well as an expert evaluator, reviewer, National Innovation Champion and Ambassador for the European Innovation Council, jury member for the European Commission and several national governments in Europe.

Her expertise focuses on making the best use of European opportunities for organisational and business growth. Ms Giuliano is passionate about female empowerment and is a past President of the Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs in Malta.

As part of the new organisational structure, Rebecca Zammit, currently Head of Projects, has been appointed Director of Operations. In this role, she will oversee the company’s operational strategy, day-to-day service delivery, and cross-functional coordination.

Having successfully overseen complex, multi-partner international projects, she has played a key role in strengthening delivery processes, team coordination, and quality assurance across the organisation. As Director of Operations, Ms Zammit focuses on optimising internal structures, ensuring project excellence, and supporting sustainable growth across AcrossLimits’ expanding portfolio.

Alexander Camilleri, currently Head of EU Funding & Proposal Development, has been appointed Director of Business Development, where he will lead international growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.

“It is both exciting and incredibly humbling to be helping to shape the next chapter of AcrossLimits’ long and successful legacy. With the support of our amazing team, I have full confidence we will see our company continue to grow and scale its impact in line with our mission to deliver meaningful projects for the betterment of our society and environment,” said Mr Camilleri.

The restructuring also includes the elevation of several team members into head roles, which the company said reinforces the depth of expertise across its core service areas.

Founded in 2001, AcrossLimits has built an international reputation through its work in digital transformation, innovation management, EU-funded research and development, and capacity building across multiple sectors.
