Daniel Vella Friggieri, Regional CEO of Aspen Pharma’s Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT) markets, was awarded the ‘Executive of the Year’ title by the company.
Mr Vella Friggieri joined Aspen Pharma in 2016 as Managing Director of the company’s Middle East and North Africa markets. Three years later, he was promoted to his current role.
“I am humbled and honoured to accept the Aspen Pharma Group Executive of the Year award,” the Regional CEO wrote on social media.
“I dedicate this award to all the MENAT team for their trust and resilience every day,” he continued.

Mr Vella Friggieri has a wealth of experience in local and international pharmaceutical industries.
Before joining Aspen Pharma, he held a lengthy tenure at Actavis (now Allergan). He joined the company as Country Manager for Malta and he steadily worked his way up to Regional Director for the North Africa and Levan regions.
