In a remarkable display of leadership and altruism, Michael Attard, CEO of Attard Brothers Group, completed a 105km run on his birthday, raising €93,000 for 23 Maltese NGOs. Instead of a traditional celebration, he took on this challenge with friends to support local charitable organizations working in healthcare, social welfare, and community support.

Among the beneficiaries are:

  • OASI Foundation
  • Fondazzjoni Sebħ
  • DAR Bjorn
  • Caritas Malta
  • Dar Merhba Bik Foundation
  • Fondazzjoni Nazareth
  • Embrace Diversity Organisation
  • Dar Hosea
  • Smiling with Jerome
  • Autism Parents Association
  • Equal Partners Foundation
  • Mid-Dlam għad-Dawl
  • Soup Kitchen OFM – Valletta
  • Inspire Malta
  • Klarissi Sisters Malta
  • Richmond Foundation – Malta
  • Fondazzjoni Arka
  • The Malta Trust Foundation
  • Puttinu Cares
  • Dar Tal-Providenza Siggiewi
  • Hospice Malta
  • ALS Malta +

The initiative has been met with widespread praise, with colleagues at Attard Brothers Group commending his commitment to making a difference. His determination and generosity serve as a powerful reminder of how business leaders can inspire positive change beyond the boardroom.
