He remarked that while it is common for people to think that achieving success will make them happy, Mr Zammit explained that it is “actually the other way around”. “According to recent studies, being happy makes you more successful,” he added.

“Happiness has a profound effect on brain function and leads to a significant increase in individual performance, creating greater individual and business success,” he said.

As a result of this, he pointed out that working on the happiness of oneself and of employees has become “even more important”, as “boosting happiness and wellbeing will actually impact your bottom line”.

Citing research by positive psychology expert Shawn Achor, Mr Zammit outlined that increased happiness leads to a 23 per cent reduction in stress, 39 per cent improvement in health, and also a 31 per cent increase in productivity. “In simpler terms, our brains function better when we’re in a good mood,” he added.

“If happiness leads to increased brain function, improved problem-solving ability, increased memory and retention, higher accuracy, and more creativity, you’re at an advantage, and are more likely to perform at your peak,” Mr Zammit said.

He concluded with: “Your employees ultimately determine your business success, or lack thereof. Are they happy?”

Mr Zammit specialises in optimising search engine marketing and programmatic advertising in iGaming, crypto, and esports, and describes himself as “fully invested in client growth”.

Throughout his career, he has gained valuable marketing and advertising experience across a range of industries. This includes two years as Head of Digital Marketing at Hero Gaming, three years as Director Online Marketing at Corinthia Hotels, and also four years as Senior Web Marketer at GFI Software. Mr Zammit also has experience working as a Digital Marketing Consultant on a freelance basis, assisting companies in improving their Google search rankings through SEO, and increasing the number of customers that convert through their website, among other services.
