Lara Falzon

Lara Falzon is set to step down as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of iGaming firm Bragg Gaming at the end of the year, the company announced on Friday.

She has served as President and COO since November 2021, having first been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors back in March of the same year.

The company stated that she will remain actively involved in day-to-day operations up until her departure.

Bragg Gaming is a global B2B gaming technology and content provider with offices in Toronto (Canada), Las Vegas (US), Reno (US), London (UK), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Malta, and Chennai (India). It serves online and land-based gaming operators with its “proprietary and exclusive content, and its cutting-edge technology”.

Commenting on her departure, Ms Falzon said that she is honoured to have been part of Bragg Gaming during a time when the company “made so much progress in establishing its foundation to achieve consistent growth”.

“I am confident that the company has outstanding leadership and team members to guide its continued success going forward,” she added.

Bragg Gaming Chairman and CEO Matevž Mazij remarked that during her time at the company, Ms Falzon has been an “invaluable member” of the team, providing “substantial” contributions to the company’s success and growth.

“Lara’s [Ms Falzon’s] dedication, leadership and hard work have left a significant mark on Bragg, and we are grateful for the knowledge and experience she brought to the company,” he said.

“We wish her all the best for the next chapter in her career,” Mr Mazij concluded.

Ms Falzon has a demonstrated history of working in the gambling and casinos industry, having served in a number of senior roles at various iGaming firms. She describes herself as being skilled in budgeting, external audit, accounting, internal controls, and International Financial Reporting Standards, among other things. Earlier this year, she was named in the shortlist for the Executive of the Year category in the annual Global Gaming Awards.
