Former ELT professional Catherine Mifsud has recently been appointed Head of School / Business Developer at the Institute of Financial Services (ifs) Malta.

Apart from her experience in the English Language Teaching sector, where she served as Director of Studies at four different English schools over the past eight years, Ms Mifsud has also recently finished her executive MBA and graduated from the University of Malta earlier this month.

Despite remaining in the field of education, Ms Mifsud’s new role sees her change industries all together, from ELT to finance.

Indeed, ifs Malta is an education provider which has been operating in the local financial services sector for over 50 years.

Over the years, the Institute has made various strategic alliances to provide study programmes that are well established and recognised within the financial services sphere. Qualification levels of the programmes offered by ifs Malta range from an Awareness Certificate level right up to a Masters level of specialisation, all within a well-structured path.
