The Computime CEO, Alistair Mangion, has said that as the company sharpens its strategic direction for the next stage of growth, “we must also ensure that the organisation is well equipped to support it.”

He said that together with the Executive Team he is “reviewing our leadership structure and the capabilities we will need as the group continues to grow.”

This, he said, will involve changes to certain leadership roles, the creation of new leadership positions to bring on additional focus, and further work across its corporate services.

His statement was made in the company's interim results, where it registered a successful first half of 2026 with a profit before tax of €2.32 million, which was a 12 per cent increase from the €2.08 million it registered in the first half of 2025.

“Since taking on the role of CEO, one of my priorities has been to take a more active and deliberate approach to strategic planning,” the CEO wrote in a company announcement about Computime Holdings plc’s interim results.

He said that last year, the group strengthened its management framework and established strategy teams across main business lines. “This provided a broader management structure through which to assess the development of each area of the business and consider its long-term direction in a structured and disciplined manner.”

“This year, with the help of our Chairman, I led a comprehensive strategy review with the aim to take a fresh look at where we want to drive the Group over the coming years.”

He said that the review allowed the group to assess the factors that have supported its success to date, consider the opportunities ahead and agree on the strategic principles and priorities that will guide its decisions.

“One of the main outcomes of our strategy review was agreement on the importance of innovation to the group’s long-term direction,” he said, adding that together with the Executive Team, he has been working to encourage this mindset across all levels of management and the wider organisation, “a mindset that challenges conventional thinking and pushes our leaders to continuously seek new ways of creating value for our customers.”

He said that the group has a proven track record of developing new solutions, and that he intends to build on this legacy by placing innovation even more firmly at the centre of its strategic direction.

The CEO added that Computime will also work on its own internal digital transformation, including the use of technology and AI to improve how it operates, collaborates and make decisions.

“In parallel, work has commenced on an ambitious renovation of the Group’s premises, which is intended to create a more modern, collaborative and inspiring working environment. All these initiatives will require continued investment in people and technology, and I believe that this investment is necessary to strengthen the organisation and pave the way for further growth.”

He said that reaching a new six-month record on the back of an already strong prior year is an achievement of which the company can be proud and provides further confidence as it looks ahead to the remainder of the year and beyond.
