Lawyer Chantelle Marie Coleiro has been appointed Non-Executive Director at Tigne Mall plc.

The appointment was announced during the company’s latest Annual General Meeting (AGM), held remotely on 17th June.

Since there were as many nominees to the Board as there were vacancies, all nominees were automatically elected as Non-Executive Directors of the company.

This means that the following are now serving as Non-Executive Directors at Tigne Mall plc: Chantelle Marie Coleiro, David Demarco, Marzena Formosa, Albert Frendo, Joseph Zammit Tabona.

Dr Coleiro presently serves as Head of Legal Advisory within HSBC Bank Malta’s legal office. She had joined the bank in 2007 after completing her legal traineeship at Ganado Advocates.

The newly appointed Non-Executive Director has also been appointed as a Member of Tigne Mall plc’s Audit Committee, meaning that it is now composed of Dr Coleiro, Albert Frendo, and David Demarco (Chairperson).

Tigne Mall plc is engaged in the ownership and management of The Point Shopping Mall in Sliema, including underground car parking facilities.

Spanning around 15,000 square metres of retail floor space, said mall attracts 2.5 million local and foreign visitors every year.  The Point Shopping Mall is home to a variety of retail outlets – such as Adidas, Bershka, and Benetton – and eateries.
