Christopher Curmi haș been appointed Non-Executive Director of the PG Group.
An international tax specialist since the early 1990s, Mr Curmi was one of the founders of Curmi, Paris, Scicluna & Co and headed its international tax practice.
Following the firm’s 2005 merger with Deloitte Malta, Mr Curmi joined Deloitte’s International Tax Department as Director and Partner, a position he retired from in 2024.
He is also a Council Member of the Malta Institute of Financial Services Practitioners and Chair of its Tax & EU Affairs sub-committee.
He also chairs the Malta Branch of the International Fiscal Association and is an active member of Society for Trust & Estate Practitioners.
Mr Curmi also advises family offices on corporate governance and succession planning.
His new appointment come shortly after Gianluca Borg was appointed CEO of the PG Group, which operates the Pavi and Pama supermarkets and the new St George’s Mall.
