Simon Naudi, Managing Director and CEO of the Corinthia Group, has been awarded the Exceptional Contribution CEO Award by the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), in recognition of his leadership and long-standing contributions to the hospitality industry.

The award was presented during the GHA’s annual ceremony, held this year at the Solvay Library in Brussels. Awards were given to hotel brands and individual properties within the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme. More than 15 awards were distributed, with each category drawing multiple nominations from across GHA’s network of over 850 hotels in more than 100 countries.

Headquartered in Dubai, the GHA was established in 2024 and is now the largest alliance of independent hotel brands.

“I am truly humbled to receive the GHA’s Exceptional Contribution CEO Award. This recognition is undoubtedly a distinguished vote of confidence in me, which truly strengthens me further in my pursuits and professional quest,” Mr Naudi remarked.

While thanking everyone for the honour, he continued: “It is also an indirect confidence in all my colleagues who contributed to our Corinthia journey. Together, we will continue to set new standards in hospitality and strive to exceed our guests’ expectations.”

Mr Naudi joined International Hotel Investments (IHI), the parent company of Corinthia Group, as a senior executive in 1997.

He has also been responsible for hotel and real estate acquisitions and development as well as the expansion of CHL’s hotel operations in major cities, including projects in London, New York, Rome and Brussels.

In 2024, he was appointed Group CEO and Managing Director, focusing on corporate, investment, ownership, financial and development matters, while overseeing all companies owned by IHI.
