TradeMalta has announced the appointment of Daniel Galea as its new Chairperson.

Mr Galea brings significant industry experience to the role. Alongside his position on The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry Council, he currently serves as Managing Director of easyJet Engineering Malta. His appointment is viewed as an opportunity to reinforce TradeMalta’s mission to support Malta-based companies in accessing international markets.

In its announcement, the organisation said it “looks forward to working together to further expand Malta’s global commercial presence.”

TradeMalta also expressed gratitude to outgoing Chairperson David Matrenza, acknowledging his “dedicated service to the organisation” and thanking him for his “leadership, commitment, and contribution to the organisation’s strategic advancement.”

His guidance, the organisation noted, “has been invaluable in strengthening TradeMalta’s mission to support and promote Malta’s international trade interests.”

Affirming its ongoing priorities, TradeMalta stated that it “remains committed to empowering local businesses to expand internationally,” adding confidence that the new leadership will continue to drive this mission forward.

TradeMalta is a public-private partnership between the Government of Malta and The Malta Chamber, supporting local enterprises looking to access and compete in foreign markets.
