Silvan Mifsud, Director at EMCS Tax and Advisory, has been appointed Chairperson of the Entrepreneurship and Family Business Thematic Committee within The Malta Chamber.
“We trust [Silvan Mifsud] will contribute positively and play a meaningful role in this Committee,” the company wrote on social media.
Prior to this involvement, Mr Mifsud was the Chairperson for The Malta Chamber’s Virtual Financial Assets Agents Committee.
Mr Mifsud has been at the helm of EMCS’ Advisory Services department since 2019. Prior to that, he was Senior Manager of the same company’s Business Advisory Services department for just under a year.
Before joining EMCS, Mr Mifsud held a plethora of managerial roles at a series of local companies. These include GO, Gutenberg Press, and Crystal Finance Investments.

At the time of writing, his journey has led to £24,849 (€28,665) being raised for mental health charities.
He remarks that people tend to mistakenly view failure as a ‘setback’ or ‘disappointment’.
