Greta Zammit recently announced her new role as Head of Quality and Compliance at db Group Malta.

db Group owns a number of hotels and restaurants locally. This includes db Seabank Resort + Spa, db San Antonio Hotel + Spa, Manta and Healthmark, among others.

Ms Zammit has been working at the group since 2019 as Food Safety, Quality and Compliance Manager at its outlets and franchises. These include Starbucks, Hard Rock Café and Lifestyle Group.

Prior to that, she had years of experience within the industry as a Scientific Officer with the Hygiene and Nutrition Department at Corinthia Group.

She held the role of Quality Assurance Manager at Sky Gourmet Malta Inflight Catering Ltd for 12 and a half years.

Simultaneously, for nearly 20 years, Ms Zammit freelanced in food safety and hygiene (HACCP) training and consultancy.

She received multiple certifications in the UK for food hygiene and safety and auditing as well as having been awarded with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical/Medical Laboratory, Science/Research and Allied Professions from University of Malta.

On LinkedIn, she describes herself as being skilled in team building, team leadership and public speaking among others.
