EBO.ai has announced the appointment of Hilary Galea-Lauri to its Board of Directors as an independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Mr Galea-Lauri brings with him 25 years of experience as an audit partner, “spanning senior leadership roles at KPMG over a 38-year career, and a proven track record on boards and audit committees across financial institutions and global organisations.”

The company said that he will provide independent oversight and constructive challenge across performance, governance, compliance, financial controls, audit, and risk management.

“I am delighted to join EBO’s board at such an important stage in the company’s development. I look forward to bringing my experience in audit and risk, strategy, and board governance to help strengthen EBO’s foundations and support the company’s continued expansion with independent insight,” he said.

Speaking about the appointment, EBO’s CEO Gege GATT said: “Hilary’s exceptional expertise will be instrumental as we scale. His independent perspective further strengthens the board and our ability to execute our growth strategy with discipline and confidence."
