Lombard Bank Malta plc has announced that, as from Friday 1st December 2023 (tomorrow), Moira Balzan, Helena Said and Antoinette Fenech will be taking new roles at the bank.

Announced through the Malta Stock Exchange on Thursday (today), Lombard Bank shared that that Ms Balzan will be replacing Aurelio Theuma as Chief Financial Officer.

In addition, Dr Said was appointed as Chief Legal Officer of the bank, replacing Paul Debono.

On the other hand, Ms Fenech will be replacing Joan Aquilina as Head of Internal Audit at the bank.

Mr Theuma, Dr Debono and Ms Aquilina’s replacements are coming into effect after having reached retirement age. Despite so, they will all be retained as consultants.

“The bank thanks Mr Theuma, Dr Debono and Ms Aquilina for their commitment and contributions over the years,” Lombard Bank remarked.

All required regulatory approvals have been sought and received.
