Marie Claire Camilleri has been promoted to Head of Sales & Business Development at Content House Group.

Ms Camilleri joined the local publishing house as Deputy Head of Sales & Business Development last April.

Speaking to WhosWho.mt, the new Sales Head noted that “even though [she came] from the tourism sector, [she] transferred [her] commercial skills and business acumen to the media world when joining Content House.”

Prior to joining the company, Ms Camilleri served as Business Development Manager at SIT Malta for just under two years. She also occupied a plethora of sale and business development-related roles at some of Malta’s leading hotels.

“Marie Claire’s appointment as Head of Sales and Business Development, entrusting her with a growing passionate team that is responsible for revenue generation, client relationship management, and business development of our large number of media brands, is further testimony that we like to promote from within, as much as possible,” Content House Managing Director Jesmond Bonello told WhosWho.mt.

Launched in 2004, Content House Group now prides itself in being one of the country’s leading media news organisations, producing top content for the Maltese islands.

The publishing house runs and owns a plethora of online portals and print publications, including but not limited to BusinessNow.mt, WhosWho.mt, iGamingCapital.mt, and Malta Invest.
