Matthias Billinger on Saturday shared that he has been promoted to Head of Retail Services at Malta-based sports betting company Tipico.

His new position comes after more than six years at the company, during which time he worked as Contract Manager & Compliance Coordinator.

Prior to that, he worked as Service Network Supervisor at Turkish home and appliances manufacturer Vestel’s offices in Munich, Germany. He also worked as Network Supervisor and Cashier Manager at Ireland’s Dornhoefer Services Limited for six years, and Global Business Process Services at IBM for a year. His experience also includes six and a half years as Manufacturing Engineer at Daimler Chrysler.

He describes himself as being particularly skilled in product development and customer services, among others.

Headquartered in Malta at its Tipico Tower, Tipico is a leading sports betting provider in Germany that was established in 2004. It has multiple offices in Germany, along with Austria, Croatia, Gibraltar, Colombia and the United States. It has grown to have an established presence in the iGaming industry, and has been the official partner of German football associations Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga since 2018.
