Anita Mifsud on Friday announced that she has been appointed CEO at Swan Laundry & Dry Clean Co. Ltd.
This comes as she also shared the end of her time as CEO of Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (MFCC), a position she held for more than nine years.
She remarked that it was a “fantastic journey” at MFCC, and will now serve as Director at the conference and exhibition venue.
“I am pleased that I will continue contributing to this journey in a different role,” Ms Mifsud continued.
Turning to her appointment at Swan Laundry & Dry Clean, she highlighted that it is a “new chapter” in her career, representing a shift in industry, before adding: “Never be afraid of change.”
Her experience includes C-level and management positions at OK Limited, AG Design International, Rimus Trading Agency, and Methode Electronics Malta Ltd, and Right Structures.
Ms Mifsud is an experienced CEO with a demonstrated history of working in the events services industry. She describes herself as a “self-motivated and passionate” individual who thrives in challenging and dynamic environments, with a proven track record of “achieving results through strong leadership and effective problem solving”.
She holds a Diploma in Engineering from University of Malta, and a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School. Ms Mifsud also has a Master of Science in Hospitality Management from Idea Leadership and Management Institute, among other qualifications.
Swan Laundry & Dry Clean has been in the dry cleaning in the laundry industry for over 30 years. It is headquartered at the Bulebel Industrial Estatre in Żejtun and offers special garments cleaning, personal dresses cleaning, and household cloths cleaning, as well as other services.
