Building services contractor, Panta, has appointed two new Directors, Katrina Attard and Kris Micallef, who are third-generation members of the family that founded the long-standing company.

Ms Attard and Mr Micallef have amassed years of practical experience at different levels of operations within the Group. Their university educations have allowed them to merge their academic background with their work experiences, to continue building on the work of previous generations to shape the future of Panta.

As Panta’s new CEO, Ms Attard says, “Panta has shaped the building services industry in Malta. Not only was it the first major company of its kind to be successful in the industry both in Malta and overseas, but it also pioneered a culture of uncompromised dedication to technical honesty, quality service and expertise.”

“This is why our clients keep returning to Panta,” she continues, “and it is what we have kept as our core economic, social and environmental values as we led Panta through a restructuring process that has also served as a growth strategy and brand refresh.’’

The new appointments come as the family business, which has grown over generations, evolves from Panta Lesco into Panta Group. For more than 50 years, Panta has brought high-quality products and innovative technologies applied on both large-scale projects and smaller-scale residential use.

Mr Micallef, the company’s new Chief Commercial Officers, adds “We both feel proud to have accomplished so much thus far, continually building the brand name that our grandfather and Founder of the Group, Mr Barth Attard, started back in 1960.”
